About Us
Tailored for Impact is a not-for-profit organization, founded in 2019, that works to empower girls and young women from disadvantage communities rise above inequalities they face.

We define thriving as having the rights, agency, ability and resources to control one’s life course, through choices such as education, use of financial resources, partner, marriage, childbearing and profession.

Mission
To empower adolescent girls and young women to effect positive change in their lives and environment.
Our Focus Areas
Education
We support adolescent girls’ transition and complete school through
mentorship, scholarship, access to reading materials and life skills
education. Why It Matters Education leads to higher wages, better access to
quality jobs, better health outcomes for children and increased
independence for women
Health
We provide sexual and reproductive health education and facilitate
access to products and services for adolescent girls and young women. Why It Matters Choosing whether and when to have children is the
most important fundamental expression of bodily autonomy. When girls
are empowered to decide for themselves, they can make choices that
prevent poverty and health risks for themselves and their babies.
Livelihood
We equip young women with skills and access to opportunities to start
and grow their businesses through skills training, linkages and building
savings culture. Why It Matters Women who have access to their own sources of income report higher lifesatisfaction and increase sense of agency. They are also freer to escape dangerous situations such as violent relationships.
We believe girls and young women all over the world can live self-determined lives, fulfill their potential and accelerate development in their communities and beyond.
